​​“I'm in my 6th decade on Earth, and I'm an endurance athlete--an ultramarathoner, and multiple ironman triathlete, and I'm a martial artist.
I was given a steer to Robin by friends and fellow athletes who grew weary of my groans and aches from the training I so love. Before I met Robin, I was literally bent, and I had all the flexibility and mobility of rebar...Knee and back pain were a fact of life for me. Hip tightness was par for the course. Until I started working with Robin my physical limitations were only increasing with time and age.
I cannot overstate the value and benefits of making body work part of your self care.  I can't claim it has reversed the aging process, but I can categorically state that Robin's efforts on my behalf--massage therapy, mobility and flexibility work--have absolutely allowed me to push the typical complaints of the aging athlete to the far back burner.  Robin is an exceptionally skilled therapist.  I literally feel taller after every session. My hips are more open, my back pain greatly diminished, all allowing me to keep pursuing my favorite physical activities (swim, bike, run and run and run).  She is remarkably knowledgeable about body mechanics and is a superb teacher.  I frequently take home new stretching and mobility exercises/techniques after sessions with her.
Finally, you will find no kinder soul in the business, no happier spirit than Robin in her element at Sweat Society.  Make no mistake...this is no day at a spa.  This is body WORK.  It will warm you up.  And deconstruct you. And put you back together in ways you haven't felt in a while or even thought possible, perhaps.  In both body and brain I am healthier, thanks to Robin, than when I started this journey.  You'll find me regularly on her schedule because, thankfully, the journey now has a long(er) way to go.”
